(543) Our daily needs of food, clothing, dwelling, and transportation are all met by the labor of mind and body of the masses. Therefore, we have to be grateful to their kindness and cherish the blessings.
(542) Our parents bestow on us life while our teachers unlock our wisdom. Be respectful to elders and teachers, and propagate their missions in order to repay their kindness.
(539) It is a profound pity indeed if we do not know how to manage and value this precious life of ours but instead indulge in daily quibbles nor do we embrace contentment thereby resulting in mind afflictions.
(537) We learn much better when young while it’s diffcult to get any learning done when old. Time passed is lost. Therefore, if we don’t learn when young, it’s opportunity foregone when we become old.
(536) The world does not stop turning on account of the absence of anybody. However, if you fail to manage your own time to do good, then you have already given up your own life.
